SyncFlow

Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

TL;DR: SyncFlow does not use cookies. Your data stays on your device. Period.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites to remember preferences, track activity, or manage sessions.

Our Approach

SyncFlow does not use any cookies. We do not set, read, or rely on any cookies for the functioning of this tool. This includes:

Local Storage

SyncFlow uses your browser's localStorage (not cookies) for a single purpose: remembering your dark/light theme preference. This data is stored locally on your device, never transmitted to any server, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

IndexedDB (Model Cache)

SyncFlow's AI transcription feature (Whisper via Transformers.js) stores the speech-to-text model in your browser's IndexedDB storage. This is not a cookie — it's a local database your browser maintains for web applications.

Third-Party Fonts

SyncFlow loads font files from Google Fonts. Google may log your IP address when the fonts are requested. This is standard web infrastructure behavior and not something SyncFlow controls. Refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Cloudflare Hosting

As part of standard web serving, Cloudflare may process basic HTTP request data. Cloudflare's use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policy.

Managing Local Storage & IndexedDB

You can clear SyncFlow's local storage and IndexedDB cache at any time:

Clearing this data will reset your theme preference and remove the cached Whisper model (it will be re-downloaded on next use). Your files are not affected.

Changes to This Policy

If SyncFlow's cookie usage changes in the future, this page will be updated accordingly.
